EcoCast Explorer gives users an opportunity to explore how the EcoCast product works. Users are able to generate predictive maps for specific dates, for single species, and can change the species weightings. Select historical date of interest.

Adjust species weightings to reflect your management priorities. A more negative value for the bycatch species (leatherbacks, blue sharks, and sea lions) creates a map biased towards avoiding their bycatch. A more positive value for the target species (swordfish) creates a map biased towards catching swordfish.

Customize the display. Use dropdowns to filter the EcoCast map, change map extent, or add additional map elements.
